Paralympian Calls for Innovation in Spinal Cord Injury Mobility Devices

In a recent article by CNN, Paralympic athlete Tatyana McFadden said that mobility devices have not made significant strides that match the technological advances that have occurred in other areas and called on the world’s braintrust to create new and innovative assistive mobility technologies. The effort is part of Mobility Unlimited, a $4 million challenge that aims to create opportunities for designers, engineers, inventors and technologists to create ways to improve mobility for individuals with lower-limb paralysis.
