The Touro Rehabilitation Center is located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehab Facilities (CARF), its spinal cord injury program offers acute rehabilitation designed to maximize function and independence. Patients have access to a range of rehabilitative services, including physical therapy, speech therapy, and respiratory therapy. Because sound mental health plays a key role in the recovery journey, each patient receives mental health counseling from a licensed mental health provider. To minimize stress and maximize family involvement, each patient is assigned a case manager to coordinate care and expedite the process of getting answers to common questions.
