Welcome to our Assistive Technology Initiative!
The Institute for Career Development (ICD) has been providing leading-edge workforce development programs for veterans and people with disabilities since 1917. Our training programs, internships, career planning, and job placement services help to transform the lives of 1,000+ students each year. We have expanded our services to better serve people with Spinal Cord Injury and other physical disabilities by incorporating state-of-the-art assistive technology throughout our specialized vocational assessment, training programs, and job placement services. With the assistance of an OT consultant, we are able to create a pathway to employment thus forging greater inclusivity among individuals with varying disabilities.
