The Medical Rehabilitation Center at Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) is located in Charleston, West Virginia. CAMC is one among just two hospital-based recovery centers in West Virginia, and is proud to offer both inpatient and outpatient care to spinal cord injury survivors at every stage along the recovery journey. Its 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation center is staffed by physiatrists, doctors who specialize in recovery medicine. Each provider holds a Functional Independence Measure Certification. As a CARF-accredited program for the treatment of brain injuries, and for inpatient and outpatient spinal cord injuries among both children and adults, CAMC offers unparalleled access to cutting edge care, leading to consistently better-than-average patient outcomes.
