Book Club Invitation

Book Meetings for SCI

Recently I had the opportunity to make some new friends and I was introduced to the Women’s Group of South Florida. As a staunch supporter of local support, recreational, and social groups I was happy to hear how active they are staying through virtual meetings. They even have a subgroup, the Women re-abled Book Club, which is a great way to come together for a common purpose that goes beyond traditional groups.

One thing 2020 has taught us is that we don’t’ have to be in the same room to be together. With the rise in popularity of virtual meetings it is now possible for those who are in rural areas or have difficulty with transportation to join groups like this and connect with others. So I asked the groups leader Carol if I could share information about the book club with our community even if it meant people from Maine, California, Idaho, Alaska, or elsewhere might join…… She said yes!

If you are interested in joining the Book Club please email Carol for additional details and log in information: carolcc39@outlook.com
