About the Center for Spinal Cord Injury Recovery

"The Center for SCI Recovery® (CSCIR) was one of the first hospital based programs in the world to open a center that provides long-term, high intensity, non-traditional, activity based therapy to maximize recovery. The CSCIR is a part of the Detroit Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM), one of the country’s largest and most respected hospitals specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

For more than 60 years, RIM, has been helping people rebuild their lives after a serious illness or injury. We do this by delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services based on cutting-edge treatment techniques, innovative research and excellent, personalized medical care.
